In the last assignment i designed around the natural elements and make up of the underside of the wharf. This ended up being a rather consistent enclosed designs. hooded and raped over the figure with heavy and restricting material make ups. This then contrast against the lose and flowing drape of the water texture and how it doesn't restrict the wearer.
In this assignment i plan on taking these elements and applying to an indie fashion style. this will keep the earthy tones and structural elements but removing the drape.
I will then apply these ideas to clothing that is commonly worn by indie kids, and alter and change into new innovative designs based on existing concepts e.g. crew top, shirt.
These designs are alot darker with more black and grey scales involved. Apply almost a shadow and concrete feel which links to the wharf and natural raw elements.
